Expertise and investment deliver global, critical end-to-end compliance services

Accenture is named a Leader and, for the first time, a Star Performer in the Everest Group Financial Crime and Compliance (FCC) Operations – Services PEAK Matrix Assessment 2022. This recognition comes at a crucial time when organizations are looking for partners to manage the threat of financial crimes, address regulatory challenges and rein in costs.

This annual report assesses 27 providers by market impact, which includes market adoption, portfolio mix and value delivered. It also measures vision and capability, which includes strategy, innovation, investments and the ability to deliver services successfully. Everest Group conferred the Star Performers title on the service providers it feels demonstrated the strongest forward and upward movement on its PEAK matrix.

Dynamic, digital and differentiating

Citing growing demand for FCC support and digital, the Everest Group highlights Accenture’s ability to maintain well-rounded capabilities as well as cater to the market through a Compliance-as-a-Service (CaaS) model. Everest notes that Accenture continues to differentiate itself in digital capabilities such as the Banking Solutions Tablet that comprises risk and compliance offerings in one place for clients.

This recognition reflects the significant and intentional growth we have achieved in compliance services to meet market demand and deliver innovative digital solutions.

Expanding services and reach

The report recognizes several advancements that distinguish Accenture. Among them are expanded new lines of business in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), fraud, law enforcement and testing. Notable advancements also include an expanding client portfolio to small to midsize and hypergrowth-focused enterprises and a widened industrial mix ranging from hi-tech to retail, commerce and insurance. In addition, the report notes Accenture’s strengthened geographic presence in the Middle East, Canada and Germany.

Investing where it matters

Among the strengths the report highlights is how Accenture invests heavily in its own initiatives, such as those to strengthen alert management systems, onboarded additional fraud and FCC SMEs, and manage client data verification systems, for example. Accenture has also invested in partnerships with companies such as Encompass, Airkit, Sayari and Blackswan Technologies to provide end-to-end platform offerings for Know Your Customer (KYC), AML and fraud management. Accenture brings these offerings together with its own proprietary assets on its SynOps platform to meet diverse client requirements.

According to the report, clients highlight Accenture’s flexibility, agility and change management capabilities as key strengths.

Importantly, the report recognizes Accenture for significantly adding to its compliance specialists and consulting professionals, expanding its delivery footprint in the US, Brazil, India and Europe. “We continue to invest in the talent and technology to create an evolved working environment.” Bradley said.
