Sathya finds her calling

"I wasn’t aware that I could be something and do something until I became a part of CAF and Craftizen’s initiative. I have learnt so many things because of this. I leant how to weave mats, make bangles and stitch clothes. Now, I aspire to work in the future and be independent." – Sathya from Doddaballapur.

Accenture is a proud partner of CAF and Craftizen’s initiative which works with specially-abled people like Sathya and helps them acquire handicraft skills which are employable. This initiative utilizes recyclable materials and teaches its beneficiaries to create usable craft items out of them.

This not only keeps the target group engaged, it makes them feel validated and included. Moreover, it gives them a means of income and helps them create their own identity.
