How I put change in motion

Being a PMP-certified professional, I support two Technology for Operations delivery centers with more than 300 people, who deploy intelligent automation tools for clients in the banking, financial services and insurance vertical. My role? Tracking project delivery status. Collaborating with project managers, I assess team utilization, monitor budgets, estimate future resource requirements and support the onboarding and rollover of teams on projects.

 

Using my knowledge of Power BI, I proactively create weekly dashboards for the leadership to share insights into resource allocation and future projections. This helps Accenture save money with resource optimization. The leadership’s appreciation for my work gives me a lot of satisfaction and drives me to go that extra mile.

A day in my life

My day starts with a session at my home gym. At work, I discuss project chargeability with project managers for optimal utilization of resources. Shortly after joining Accenture, I started helping the HR team in the initial screening of candidates for the project.

 

My prosthetic leg doesn’t stop me from unlocking my true potential and embracing opportunities. It’s a delight to see the inclusion and diversity at Accenture. Braille-enabled lifts, automatic doors, ramps, handrails for support and staff at Accenture who reach out to help even without being asked, are some of the simple steps that help persons with disabilities (PwDs) like me navigate through their workspaces independently.

 

In my spare time, I train my pet, Ferro. I religiously follow cricket, and love swimming and exercising. I also catch up with my MBA studies to hone my managerial skills.
