Data privacy notice and consent

Accenture will process personal information about you in accordance with the terms set out in this document.

 

Except for certain information that is required by law or by Accenture policies (our legitimate interest), your decision to provide any personal information to Accenture is voluntary. You will therefore not be subject to adverse consequences if you do not wish to provide Accenture with your personal information. However, if you do not provide certain information, Accenture may not be able to accomplish some or all of the purposes outlined in this privacy statement.

 

 

Accenture will process the individual’s information in relation to his/her application for the Japan Academy Training Program. To identify and ensure diverse candidates, we will be collecting the applicants’ gender.

 

Accenture will only collect personal information about you that is necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this privacy notice.

For the purpose stated in Item 1 above, Accenture is processing/will process the following personal information and sensitive personal information:

  1. Full Name
  2. Email Address
  3. Contact Number
  4. Citizenship
  5. Gender
  6. Date of Birth
  7. Educational Background

Your personal information will be processed in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Privacy Statement | Accenture.

 

In processing your personal information, certain automated processing may be used. However, final decisions will always be made with meaningful human intervention.

 

If you provide Accenture with any personal information of another person (for instance, a family member), you are responsible for ensuring that such person is made aware of the information contained in this privacy statement and that you have obtained express consent from them to use and process such information.

Accenture is a global organization and may transfer your information to other countries in which Accenture's worldwide organization does business and to vendors globally. All such vendors are subject to contractual obligations in relation to the processing of your personal information. Accenture also has internal policies in place to ensure an equivalent level of protection is in place across the organization.

 

Access to your personal information will be limited to those Accenture employees or vendors who have a need to know the information for the purposes described in this document. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Accenture Recruitment
  2. Accenture Marketing
  3. Accredited Vendor – Learning Center

Accenture shall be the personal information controller of the personal information to be collected. Any data privacy issues may be raised by contacting the Data Protection Officer at dataprivacyofficer@accenture.com.

All personal information collected pursuant to this document shall be retained for < 1 year>, unless Accenture has another legitimate ground to retain the same.

Please always keep your personal information up to date and inform Accenture of any material changes to your personal information.

Under the Philippines’ Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have rights as a data subject. These include the right to access, correction and object to the processing of your personal information, to be indemnified for violations of your rights under the Act, as well as the right to lodge a complaint before the National Privacy Commission.
