About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled InsuranceSuite Configuration Developer with a thorough understanding of Guidewire products, specifically in Policy Center or Claim Center. This role involves working closely with internal customers, architects, and developers to design, develop, and maintain functionality within the Guidewire platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper patterns and practices are used to deliver software solutions.
- Engage with business analysts and SMEs to translate business requirements into system changes.
- Implement screen-related changes, wizards, workflows, validation rules, and business rules.
- Define, design, and configure the company structure, including internal companies, organization structure, regions, branches, users, roles, permissions, and producer codes.
- Utilize Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and predefined plugins for configuration and coding.
- Assess technical debt and prioritize with development teams to ensure sustainable and production-ready solutions.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire applications (Policy Center, Billing Center, or Claim Center) in either self-managed cloud environments (AWS or Azure) or Guidewire Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in XML and SQL.
- Experience programming with modern technologies such as JavaScript, Java, C#, or similar languages.
- Ability to debug software issues and resolve defects.
- Certification in the Guidewire products being implemented.
- Prior experience with GIT, Jenkins, Rally, or similar applications.
- Guidewire ACE Certifications are preferred.
