Before the pandemic, I was commuting weekly to the client two to three days a week which was both fun and exciting. I felt that there was always something going on, but I still had time to be at home. Since the pandemic started, I have been working from home with a team situated across the Nordic.
In the morning, I connect with my client team where the goal is to identify what we can act on and how urgent it is. After that, I dig into the system to find the root of the issues and address it to the correct persons in the client’s organization. If there are repeated issues, I am also looking into how business processes could be further enhanced or if the IT solution needs to be developed further. The afternoon is spent in multiple virtual calls, building relations with SAP and looking into collaborations to ensure that Accenture and SAP can utilitize each other.
The number one thing about working at Accenture is the people. Accenture would not be what it is without the colleagues. We live our core value “best people” every day. The second best thing is the ability to learn and grow as I am a learner, and I like to challenge myself on a daily basis. Finally, the size of Accenture is something that I appreciate. Even though we are big, the leaders see you; you are an individual who contribute, and you are recognized for that. And when you are facing challenges that you cannot solve on your own, a colleague is never far away, regardless if that person is located in China, US, Australia, or India. He or she will take the time to support and help you, ensuring that you get the help you need.
When I need to unplug, I spend time in the forest or at sea sailing. Spending my spare time in nature is important to me.
