At Accenture, I wear multiple hats as I deal with different situations every day. I usually spend my day meeting with my team, other leads and clients to review our progress and address any issues within projects.
In the afternoon, I attend “learn over lunch” or “brown bag” sessions and workshop discussions with both internal and external speakers. Through these sessions, I learn about technology trends and cross-project updates. I also find time to discuss with our leadership team new project opportunities we can introduce to clients.
In the evening, I schedule consultation hours for my team members or career counselees who need my support. After my shift ends, I have dinner with my team, cross team or clients. It’s a good way to know more about the people I work with over delicious food and drinks!
Every day at Accenture is an exciting challenge. My work gives me the opportunity to embrace change, develop my soft skills such as effective communication and stakeholder management, and improve my technical skills. One of the most interesting projects I’ve handled is digital lending, which allowed me to work on many internal assignments and explore different workstreams. On some days, I had to collaborate with colleagues of different nationalities and be agile in my delivery approach across more than 10 workstreams. We were required to complete our tasks while dealing with changing scope, timelines and budgets. It was a challenge, but we delivered.
I’m honored to be surrounded by highly talented people. Working and discussing with them allows me to broaden my view of things. We work together to complete projects that are game changers in various business sectors or uplift Thai people’s standard of living.
In my downtime, I enjoy traveling. Seeing and understanding different peoples and cultures helps me widen my worldview. Trekking is another way for me to see the natural world. I also set a meditation period every year-end. Life can be hectic and it’s great to slow down a bit and have some time for myself.
I also attend seminars and short courses so I can learn something new. I enjoy listening to experts talk about technology updates, workforce or other non-work-related matters.
