Manish Sharma is Chief Services Officer for Accenture.
Known for his expertise in and passion for reinvention, rigor, and responsible business practices, Manish leads Reinvention Services—the integrated business unit that brings together Accenture’s Strategy, Consulting, Song, Technology and Operations services worldwide. With Manish’s leadership, Reinvention Services delivers unique solutions and measurable value to Accenture’s clients through deep industry and functional experience, world-class, AI-enabled assets and platforms, and unmatched technology ecosystem partnerships. Manish is a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee and Chair of the Board of Directors of Avanade, a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft.
A more than 30-year veteran of Accenture, Manish previously served as CEO of The Americas in Accenture, the largest of Accenture’s worldwide geographic markets which includes the US, Canada and Latin America. He also served as CEO of North America.
Prior to this role, Manish served as Accenture’s global chief operating officer before assuming the role of CEO of North America in September 2023.
Earlier in his career, as group chief executive of Accenture’s Operations practice, Manish led global business process services experts and helped clients across the world transform their businesses and create opportunities for their people to do more rewarding work. He spearheaded the development of Accenture's SynOps platform, which orchestrates the optimal combination of AI, data and insights with human expertise to create an intelligent operating model that dramatically improves efficiency and results. Prior to that, he held key leadership positions in Accenture Operations, including group COO and global business process outsourcing delivery lead.
Manish is a longtime advocate for inclusion and creating opportunities for all to succeed. He was instrumental in creating new skilling opportunities, which provided pathways to those who likely would not otherwise have had access to technology roles.
Manish recently sponsored the launch Accenture's DC Tech Hub, located in UDC's Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning Campus in Ward 8, where Accenture and its partners implemented a comprehensive apprenticeship program offering valuable hands-on experience, critical skills development, and mentorship from industry experts. He is also an active supporter of the Bronx Tech Hub, which is committed to increasing education, workforce development, and entrepreneurial access to technology and innovation. Manish spearheaded the Goodwill Clean Tech Accelerator, a workforce training initiative in partnership with Goodwill Industries International that aims to fill the clean tech talent gap. He also founded the Accenture Rural Program, which partners with small businesses in rural areas in India and the Philippines to give young people access to jobs, training, and mentoring. Empowering people to unlock their potential and feel valued has long been Manish’s mission. In the mid-90s, he and his wife established a child welfare and education trust to give children in India a better future. He serves as the trust’s director and spends most of his free time actively supporting it.
Manish earned both a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and a master’s in management from the University of Mumbai.
