Solve problems that actually matter. Build a career that doesn’t box you in.

You’re starting your career at a time when organisations are being asked to do more than just perform — they’re being asked to change. To serve communities better. To use technology responsibly. To adapt faster than ever before.

If you’re curious about how big decisions get made — and you want to be part of shaping them — Consulting at Accenture is a powerful place to start.

Why Accenture?

Accenture isn’t a traditional consulting firm — and that’s the point.

We work at the intersection of business, technology and people, helping organisations turn big ideas into real change. That could mean helping a government department redesign how citizens access services, supporting a major organisation to transform how it operates, or helping teams make smarter, data‑led decisions.

What You’ll Do

As a Consulting Analyst, you’ll be part of project teams working on real client challenges from the start. You won’t just observe — you’ll contribute.

You might:

  • Help map how an organisation works today and identify where things could work better

  • Analyse data or insights to support decisions that affect customers, communities or teams

  • Support strategy, transformation or improvement initiatives — from early ideas to delivery

  • Work directly with clients in workshops, interviews or project discussions

  • Collaborate with people from different backgrounds, disciplines and ways of thinking

You’ll learn by doing, with support around you — not by being thrown in the deep end.

How You’ll Be Supported

You won’t be expected to have it all figured out! You’ll be supported through:

  • A structured development journey that blends hands on‑ project work with formal learning in problem solving, communication and how consulting works in the real world.

  • Coaching and mentoring from people who’ve been where you are

  • A team culture that values curiosity, fresh perspectives and asking questions

As you grow, you’ll have the chance to explore different industries and areas — from strategy and operations to data informed decision making and change.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome final year students and recent graduates from a wide range of degrees. There’s no single “right” background — we’re looking for people who are curious, analytical and motivated to make an impact.

Common backgrounds include:

  • Business, Commerce, Economics or Finance

  • Engineering, Science or Technology

  • Data, Analytics, Mathematics or Statistics

  • Arts, Social Sciences or Psychology

If you enjoy problem solving, working with people and learning new things, we encourage you to apply — even if your degree isn’t listed. We value diverse perspectives and encourage applications from all backgrounds.

Working Rights

  • Australian or New Zealand Citizens or Australian Permanent Residents

Locations

  • Auckland, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth & Sydney

Why Grads Choose Consulting at Accenture

Consulting at Accenture is where graduates build confidence, capability and momentum early.

  • Real responsibility, early: You’ll contribute to real client work from the start — learning by doing, with support around you.

  • Learn fast, in many ways: Develop problem‑solving, communication and analytical skills through hands‑on projects, training and feedback.

  • Work with diverse people and perspectives: Collaborate with teammates and clients from different backgrounds, industries and ways of thinking.

  • See the impact of your work: Help shape decisions and changes that affect organisations, communities and the people they serve.
