Noli’s set out to shake up the beauty industry by solving consumers’ biggest pain point: truly understanding their own needs and finding the right products—leveraging the unparalleled beauty science expertise of L'Oréal Groupe, and strategic partnership with Accenture to design and build the platform faster.

From the initial spark to the MVP launch, the startup brought Noli to life in just four-and-a-half months, defining and developing the end-to-end consumer experience, product, brand, marketing, technology environment, and business operations.

Deep consumer and industry research is the foundation. The team worked with thousands of consumers to shape Noli’s offerings and refine the user experience through continuous feedback and testing. Noli continues to test all new enhancements with its 100-strong Alpha community.

Noli’s magic lies in its AI Beauty Matchmaker—a personalized AI recommendation engine powered by over 1 million skin data points, thousands of product analyses and L'Oréal’s proprietary scientific datasets which decodes beauty and helps consumers make confident, right-for-them choices.

Behind the scenes lies a technology stack – built and run with Accenture – with a view to future innovation and scalability. Its cloud infrastructure is built on Microsoft Azure, and the platform’s architecture has been designed to gather valuable first-party data and accommodate AI agents as the company grows, expands into new markets and scales its technology operations.

Revolutionizing beauty one step at a time

Noli’s unique solution has already proven successful – and the momentum keeps building. The company now offers skincare and haircare, with plans to soon add a curated selection of third-party brands to its suite of 21 already available, giving consumers even greater choice.

Looking ahead, Noli is turbocharging its platform through a new partnership with Accenture, NVIDIA, and Microsoft. Together, they’re developing the next-generation AI Beauty Trust Agent, powered by the Accenture AI Refinery™, built on NVIDIA AI Enterprise and available through Microsoft Azure. This advanced AI capability will serve as a smart, always-on beauty advisor — one that understands each user’s unique needs and guides them through their beauty shopping journey with greater confidence and ease.
