We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to ensure the accuracy and quality of video descriptions created for training our machine learning models. You will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the work of our Video Description Agents, providing feedback, and ensuring adherence to our annotation guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly review and audit video descriptions against established annotation guidelines, data schemas, and quality standards.
- Identify and document errors, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and areas where descriptions can be improved for machine learning training.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to individual Video Description Agents, highlighting both strengths and areas for development.
- Track and analyze quality metrics and trends, generating reports on the performance of the annotation team and individual agents.
- Participate in calibration sessions with other Quality Analysts and project leads to ensure consistency in quality assessments.
- Conduct root cause analysis and identify quality trends, risks
- Act as a point of escalation for disputed audits or ambiguous policy interpretations
- Liase with training, client to resolve grey areas
- Mentor and Support new QAs when required
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of annotation guidelines, training materials, and quality assurance processes based on your observations and analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers and training teams to address data quality issues, implement corrective actions, and improve overall data quality.
- Stay up-to-date with project-specific annotation guidelines and any updates or changes.
Requisitos
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Linguistics, Media Studies, Quality Assurance) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience (e.g., 1-3 years) in a quality assurance role, preferably in data annotation, content review, or a related field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex annotation guidelines and data schemas.
- Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Familiarity with data annotation tools and quality assurance methodologies is a plus.
- A basic understanding of machine learning concepts and the importance of data quality in AI training is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
