Nancy McKinstry, a member of Accenture’s board of directors since July 2016, is chief executive officer and chairman of the executive board of Wolters Kluwer, a global leader in professional information services and solutions headquartered in the Netherlands.
Before assuming her current position in 2003, Nancy gained more than a decade of experience with Wolters Kluwer and its North American subsidiaries, serving as chief executive officer of CCH Legal Information Services for three years and as chief executive officer of operations in North America. She was first appointed to the company’s executive board in 2001.
Earlier in her career, she was a principal with Booz & Company (formerly Booz Allen Hamilton), focusing on media and technology.
Nancy is a director of Abbott Laboratories and Russell Reynolds Associates. She is also a member of the European Round Table for Industry and a member of the board of overseers of Columbia Business School. Nancy previously served as a director of Ericsson from 2004 to 2013 and Sanoma from 2011 to 2014.
Nancy holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Columbia University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston. In 2005, she was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws by the University of Rhode Island.
